Amos was living in Brisbane, Queensland and working as a labourer when he enlisted in Brisbane on 2 June 1916.
Amos embarked from Brisbane on board HMAT Kyarra on 17 November 1916 with the 7th Reinforcements   and served on the Western Front. 
Amos was returned to Australia on board HMAT Takada arriving on 7 September 1919 and was discharged in Brisbane on 17 October 1919. 
He is the brother of 1792, Private Hurtle Gordon Williams, 27th Battalion, Killed in Action 25 November 1915 and 1895, Trooper Morgan Williams, 9th Light Horse Regiment.

Son of Mrs Ann Williams of Hay Valley near Nairne, Sth Australia.
Hurtle was  working as a farmer when he enlisted at Oaklands on 19 January 1915.
Hurtle embarked from Adelaide on board HMAT Kanowna on 23 June with the 2nd Reinforcements.
He served in Egypt and at Gallipoli where he was transferred to the Australian Army Corps Ammunition Park on 19 November 1915.  Hurtle was killed in action on 25 November 1915. 
He is buried at Ari Burnu Cemetery, Anzac Cove, Gallipoli, Turkey, (Row J, Grave 1,).  
He is the nephew of 3212, Private Amos Williams, 4th Pioneer Battalion and 1895, Trooper Morgan Williams, 9th Light Horse Regiment.

Of Hay Valley near Nairne, Sth Australia.
Morgan was working as a farmer when he enlisted at Adelaide on 28 September 1915.
Morgan embarked from Melbourne on board HMAT Afric on 5 January 1916 with the 13th Reinforcements and served on the Western Front.   He was transferred on 15 August 1917 to the 14th Field Artillery Brigade Headquarters as a Driver and posted to England. 
Morgan was attached to the Australian Provost Corps as a Driver on 14 January 1918.  
On 5 October 1918 Morgan married Jessie Dorothy Tunmore of 18 Newby Street, Clapham, England.  From 16 June 1919 until 13 September Morgan was granted leave and subsistence to attend a farming course in Colchester, England.  
Morgan and his wife were returned to Australia on board HMAT Marathon arriving 24 December 1919 and he was discharged on 28 February 1920. 
He is the brother of 1792 Private Hurtle Gordon Williams, 27th Battalion, Killed in Action 25 November 1915 and 3212, Private Amos Williams, 4th Pioneer Battalion.
