Son of George TEAKLE and Auguste nee LANGBEIN
Of ‘Rosehill’ via Woodside, Sth Australia.
Alex was working as a labourer when he enlisted at Adelaide on 5 January 1916.
Alex embarked from Adelaide on board HMAT Afric on 9 June 1916 with ‘B’ Company and served on the Western Front where he was wounded with a gunshot wound to the back on 4 October 1917. 
He re-joined his unit from hospital on 8 January and was again wounded - this time gassed – on 26 May 1918. 
He was Invalided to England for hospitalisation and treatment and subsequently repatriated to Australia on board HMAT Nestor arriving on 29 June 1919 and was discharged on 24 August 1919.

John was living at Woodside and working as a labourer when he enlisted in Adelaide on 5 January 1916.
He embarked from Adelaide on board HMAT Mongolia on 9 March 1916 with the 10th Reinforcements.
John served on the Western front and was twice hospitalised with severe tonsillitis. 
He was returned to Australia on board HMAT Mahia arriving on 17 June 1919 and was discharged on 9 September 1919.

He is buried at the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium – Plot 21, Row FF, Grave 10.

He was educated at St. Peter's College, Adelaide, and entered the service of the Bank in that city on 7th October 1911.  In October 1913 he was transferred to Broken Hill, NSW.  Richard enlisted on 20 January 1916, and left Australia the following August. He attained the rank of sergeant in the 9th Light Horse Regiment.  Whilst swimming in Egypt he received spinal injuries from which he died 7th April 1918, after returning to Australia.
