THE LATE SERGEANT C. S. WILSON.
Sergeant C. S. Wilson, who died of wounds on August 11, was a resident of Nhill, Victoria, prior to enlisting for the front with the 8th Light Horse (Victorian). He was a coach painter, and was employed at Mr. Davis' factory. He took an active interest in military matters, holding the position of sergeant in the Nhill troop of Light Horse, and was also a member of the Nhill Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Nhill branch of Australian Natives' Association. He was born at Sturt, where practically all his life was spent. He was a son of the late Mr. Alfred H. M. Wilson, of Darlington and Edwardstown, who has died since he left for the front.
