THE LATE PRIVATE W. E. SANDERCOCK.
Private W. E. Sandercock, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles on August 27, was born at Burnside. When he enlisted he was residing at Prospect, where his wife and three children are still. He left Adelaide on February 1 with the 2nd Reinforcements. He was educated at the Crafers public school, and afterwards took up the occupation of a butcher. He was well liked by everyone, and will be much missed by, his many friends.
