Charles was the second son of HE Fuller, a well known Adelaide architect and prominent child welfare advocate. Charles completed Form VI at Pulteney and then went to St Peter’s College. After school he was a clerk at the Adelaide Steamship Company and then the Eastern Telegraph Company. He was a keen sailor.
Charles enlisted on September 24, 1914, one month shy of his 19th birthday, leaving Australia in December. He was dangerously wounded at Anzac in December 1914 and died of those wounds on December 4.
Private Charles Fuller is buried at Ari Burnu Cemetery Anzac, Gallipoli, Turkey.

Henry was the eldest son of Henry and Catherine Fuss of Forestville. He was educated at Goodwood Public School and at Pulteney Street School. He was known as cricket and football enthusiast. He married in 1913 but when he enlisted he had separated from his wife. He was working at Broken Hill as a tinsmith when he enlisted in August 1915.
Henry left Australia for Egypt with the 2nd Reinforcements to the 50th Battalion in April 1916, and later undertook clerical work in England. He went to France in late September 1917 and was killed in action at Passchendaele, Belgium on October 19.
Corporal Henry Fuss is remembered at the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
